![]() The best applications are free of cost and are of high quality. These are usually small applications that can be installed on your Mac and downloaded easily through the Internet. There are many applications for Mac users that allow you to convert the RAR files for free. You can even transfer the RAR files to your iPod or iPhone with just a few taps. RAR is also easier to process than compressed Zip files, because these files are much smaller. The applications use this file format to store data and offer better search results with RAR files. It's a well known issue that no longer occurs in Android 4.1+.RAR file is compressed data that can be decompressed easily, and this file is commonly used to save the data in a different format. ![]() You need to wait for the onWindowFocusChanged event as well as the OnResume event. How can I detect the moment when the activity actually appears to the user? I've tried to wait for onWindowFocusChanged(true) being called, and it seems to work, but it doesn't make me feel perfectly safe. I guess it is intentionally done like that, to let the activity prepare to redraw itself immediately after locking screen goes away. I confirmed this behaviot with Android 2.2, 2.3 and 4.0. activity gets onResume() called (and thus resumes video) before the user unlocks the screen.activity gets onPause() called, video stops.activity is on screen, video is playing.I implemented pausing/resuming the video in onPause() and onResume(), respectively, but to my surprise - onResume is called before the activity is really visible to the user. One of my activity embeds VideoView to play some content.
